About Panoramica
Panoramica is the musical alter-ego of Dan Smith.
I'm a New Zealand musician, born and raised in our windy capital, Wellington. I produce "lush downbeat electronica", using samples, hardware and software sound sources, and by sampling the environment I live in. I also enjoying mixing live sets.
What's New?
Found Sound seems to be the flavour of the month at the moment. Hot on the heels of my contribution of Santorini Blue to the Angry Rabbit compilation Apropos of Nothing, I've been interviewed on Radio Active about how and why I've shifted to Found Sound based production, and asked to supply my Apropos of Nothing release-night set for inclusion in Angry Rabbit's MP3 promo catalogue.
