The Pre-Op is when you put on your sexy white coat and take your meds. The accompanying track isn't a complex one, but I thought it would make a good intro for a mix with a bit of everything in it.

The Waiting Bay is where you drop off to sleep while doctors tick lots of boxes on lots of checklists. You drift off to a nice ambient track which progresses into a nice downbeat number, then goes kinda ravey.. before breaking down for the next phase.

The Theatre is where the sharp instruments and sparse breaks come out, and contains strange ambient samples of windchimes and small children that only a good dose of anaesthetic could produce.

In the Recovery Room there is "beeping.. lots of beeping.." (post-op notes), but in the accompanying audio there are only bells, which later transition into something a bit more four-on-the-floor.

As you are wheeled to Room 14, you are feeling very relaxed and enjoying some classic Panoramica, containing samples taken in Barcelona, and others taken on headphones..

And finally.. you are Discharged to a housey kind of tune, that isn't really all that danceable - partly because I'm Panoramica, partly because I thought better of including those dodgy 'Rush-Hour'-ish vocal samples, and partly because you're only standing up thanks to the crutches and some really good painkillers.
