Mixes: While_you_were_Sleeping 5 (Empathy Demo Remix)

A subtle remix of the third set I played live, at the fifth While_you_were_Sleeping, to give to label Empathy as a demo.

Set Artwork.

Aside from a handful of small cosmetic changes, the main difference is that Four-Track has been added, and Once Around has been edited, to keep the total duration the same.

Lively breaks and bass stabs are layered with choir-like voices and a half-speed break, before the voices are dropped to reveal a deep bed of ambient reverb.

Time-stretched breaks and gated pads are joined by While_you_were_Sleeping 3 samples to create an upbeat cut-fest.

Squelching sounds and waves, timestretched pads and deep sub bass stabs. A bit of a strange one really.

Drug experiments take deep breakdowns to the next level. Everything is out of synch and doing it's own thing - but in a good way!

"A little bit of, uh.. slow wallowing back and forth", filtered jungle bass, airy vocoded stabs, and of course breaks, create "a little bit of Panoramica. "

Drug terms, a wanting bassline and noisy beats. Well, it can't always be smooth sailing.

Chilling in Wellington's Midland Park, like it's 1999.

Morning ambience remixed into more of a beat-driven track, that eventually makes room for a deep filtered pad, female vocal snippets and a deep bassline, then winds down with a synth lead, filtered keys, breaking waves, and Peter May's customary time check.
