The AR boys approached me about getting a copy of the mix after hearing what they called a weird, impressionistic montage of the sounds of Dunedin.

Not one to be offended by such dubious feedback, I agreed and after some catch-up sleep, and a bit of hands-on practice, I turned out this live studio mix of the set, for their listening pleasure...

I seem to have a love/hate relationship with this mix. Sometimes I'm totally into it and other times we don't connect at all. So if you find it not to your liking on the first listen, put in on ice for a while and then have another go.

And if you're a Dunedinite, see if you can match up the sounds in the mix with the tracklisted sound sources and your local landmarks. After all, that's what I'll be doing when I'm back home in Wellington and reminiscing about my time here.
